Instead of a book review, this is a universe review for multiple series written by Steve McHugh. This review will be broad and avoid too many spoilers.

Harry Potter movies missed a lot and this is what I think should have been in the first movie.

The adventures in London continue as Nathaniel rises in political power and rank, assisted by Bartimaeus. He must find a way to stop the Rebellion, or at least find out who is running it.

Bartimaeus is a story about two protagonists and the evolution of their relationship. We have the young Magician’s Apprentice, Nathaniel, and the ancient Djinni, Bartimaeus.

Who is the most powerful wizard in fantasy novels, comic books, and movies?

An average boy growing up in a community of oppressed workers brings justice to his world and rises to prominence in the galaxy!

It is nice to get a solid recommendation for an epic fantasy that doesn’t require you to buy a trilogy, or five books, or more. At 804 pages, “The Priory of the Orange Tree” is a great fantasy with a lot to cheer about.

You are about to go through a portal to another world and may not be able to return, so what do you take with you?

With only 133 pages, the story is shorter than most fantasy novels, but there is a developed magic system, details about the wizard school, and an epic fight with an evil wizard.
